Entry for May 04, 2007

Temp 79. Can't do a high temperature, still some daylight left.

Above is the finished piece, "The Price of Freedom" by Sweetheart Tree. I am going to try to get it all framed up before fathers day for Greg although it is acutally a valentines gift.

Two weeks ago, we had Rebekah's birthday party at the rec center in town. They charge $50 and provide a great service for that, cake, a game room for the kids to run around and play in, some deocrations, punch. I thought it was a great value. I didn't have to clean up afterwards. Gotta love it.

Daddy finally gave into the fact that his little girl isn't so little anymore. He finally agreed to her having her ears pierced. She is doing really well taking care of them. I have uploaded a pic to webshots. She is so proud of those. He picked out a pair of pink hearts for when the starters come out. She has him tightly wrapped, doesn't she?

I have also posted a pic of Max to the Webshots album, Kids and Dogs. I will try to get a better one one of these days.

Nothing much else going on. I am going to sign off now, feed the kids and try to get some straightening done in the livingroom and diningroom. and I need to vac the house in general. I did manage to get Mariska's clothes gone through and freecycled 1 1/2 bags of outgrown stuff. I still need to do that with Patrick's clothes. Maybe next week.

I did manage to pick up cornucopia charms for Shepherds Bush "Thanksgiving Needleroll" link here http://home-and-garden.webshots.com/photo/2764203280093298780fiMypd It goes in that blank spot under where it says Thanksgiving.

Later, I am then going to stitch on Christmas Celebration and the other piece I am doing for Greg, Hinzeit's "Wine" link here: http://www.123stitch.com/cgi-bin/itemdetail.pl?item=HZ43 Shouldn't take too long to do that one. And then I am going to start on Jeannette Douglas' "Northern Shield" link here http://www.jeannettedouglas.com/06/designs_detail.php?id=20
