Entry for April 01, 2007

  Temp 59 High- 76

Avs-41-30-7 We beat the Wild 2-1 so we kept our playoff hopes alive.

It certainly has been a long time since I posted. I just have either been too busy, or just not in the mood. So, I certainly should have a lot to post. Whether any of ya'll want to hear, is another matter, lol

First, my baby girl (above) turned three. Hard for me to believe she is that old already. As you can see, you don't turn your back on her for a second, especially with blue markers left out. .

We did the flashlight Easter egg hunt last night. This year they had it outside, even though it was wet. They did it at one of the high points in town. Yes, Virginia, there are high spots in Kansas. The kids had a BLAST! It was pretty fun.

It was so wet because we had gotten rain for almost two weeks straight. We got a total of 5+ inches for the month and I think we got at least 4 of them in the last two weeks. Our front yard was a big pool yesterday. Now its just a bog.

I have finally picked the stitching back up. I managed to get all the pieces framed that I got the supplies for. I even have three of them up on the walls. I also started on Greg's b-day present, and am at least almost done with it. Just about 6 more rows to do and to get the charms for it.

Greg got the bike running without it costing an arm and a leg. Turns out somehow he got gas in the crankcase and it mixed all wrong. Don't know the whole mechanical story, but long story short, the bike runs.

I am just now getting over bronchitis. Started almost a month ago with the full blown flu. Fever, chills, sensitivity to touch, the whole nine yards. Then the bronchitis and sinusitis set in. I hate being that sick! I was coughing so much I thought I was going to break my ribs.

We had a scare with Greg's uncle Gary. He was taken to the hospital with chest pains a month or so ago and the found "a mass" in his lungs that covered almost 1/2 of a lobe and told him it was cancer and that he had two months to live. He visited an oncologist in Wichita, and after doing a CAT scan they found out it was pretty much mostly just (and I use that loosely) pneumonia. There is a MUCH smaller mass that could be cancer, but it was definitely not as extensive as the Dr here thought. Really makes me wonder about the quality of health care down here.....

I guess I have talked y'alls ear off too much for now. I need to go do my dishes and finish folding clothes, iron Greg's work clothes and head off to bed. Hopefully before midnight.

Later all!!!!!!!!1
