This is a finish from earlier this year. I did this cross stitch for my MIL, Vicki. She is an avid quilter and this seemed to fit her. It is by Jeannette Douglas and is entitled "Take Time To Quilt-Winter" I have the other three in the series and maybe I will finish them for her, too. Of course, being the typical stitcher, I have some serious SABLE. But my stash has come in handy these past few months. I would go insane, if I didn't have anything to do.
Ruth Ann, also my MIL, just left, yesterday. We had a really pleasant visit. Took the kids to the pool, had dinner at Dennis and Vicki's, and she spoiled the kids (and us a little) mercilessly. They all got new school clothes, and she got Bekah's school supplies. Got us Chinese for dinner on Friday, and took the kids to McDonald's on Sunday. Its been so long since they got to go there. Bought us a bunch of groceries. That really helps.
Nothing much else going on at the moment. I need to mow, but I need to go get gas, and its just too darn hot to do it right now. So I will go get gas later and do some mowing tomorrow.
