I stitched for about 45mins or so on Stars. Last night I started on Shepards Bush "Thanksgiving Needleroll" Didn't get a lot done as I had to frog the word Thanksgiving. But the color used is really pretty. Its by Needle Necessities and its called Mc Aulvey Manor. I will post the pic in a seperate post.
How many people in this country get to the age of 37 without learning how to drive a stick?? Well, you can cross one off the list. Greg took me out on the back roads with the pick up and taught me. He said I did better than he expected. I don't know exactly how to take that. Should I be insulted? Pleased? Just how bad did he expect. I did stall the thing out half a dozen times. but up shifting once I am going is easy, I still need practice on down shifting for stops and when I should do it. I am hoping to try it again next weekend.
I started cleaning up the floor in the bathroom in prep for sanding it down. Its *insert your favorite explicative here* hard work. But that will make it easier to sand and also cut down on the crap that is getting tracked through the house from wet feet.
I want to do some more tiles tomorrow and some more floor washing. I also want to do the floors upstairs and cull some clothes. My list of things to do keeps getting longer. I just need to keep my butt of this puter.
Greg is still plugging away at his project that needs to be done by the 12th. I haven't asked how far he had gotten. I will have to make it a point to ask tomorrow.
I need to run. Later.
