Entry for June 22, 2006

Today I didn't do a bunch, but I did get the laundry caught up and the dishes almost kept up.  Bekah had a Tball game and I am trying to watch Munich.  I probably ought not to be trying to  do both, I am doing neither well.  But I have had Munich for a month now and would like to get ti sent back.

Otherwise, I just ahd the usual trials and tribulations of trying to run this house today.  I did find a reasonably good recipe for steak fries on allrecipes.com  I need to tweak them just a little, they were lacking a little "zing" .  Perhaps some cayenne pepper on the coating???  Maybe ranch dip mix or italian dressing mix???  I am trying to become a better cook.  Its only taken me 37+ years.

Not much else to report on.  Oh, Greg did get offered a job for 112K in Redmond with MS.  If it had come before we moved here,  we would seriously consider it, but it just doesn't make sense.  We just got out here and the kids are so settled in with the grandparents that I couldn't pull them away. 

He did put his resume in with GE in Ark City.  Sounds like a little of what he used to do and a lot of what Lonnie used to do.  Not the best combo, but....  and we are still waiting to hear back from York to see if he made the first cut.

Well, I should go, its getting late and I would like to stitch a little on the "stars" kitty.  I only have two stars done and most of the third.  I would like to get the third done and start on the hat.  TTYL
