Entry for February 23, 2007

Temp 68 High 71 Looks like it is fixing to rain tonight. Our first spring t-storms.

Here is my third attempt at DIY framing. And double matting at that. Thankfully I got the picture before my son picked it up with his grubby fingers and left prints on the light blue mat (One of these days I am going to pull a Homer on him and throttle him!!) So, looks like I will have to cut a new blue mat. Otherwise, I thought it turned out better than the first and each time I do this I learn a little bit more about how to do it well. Next time I will definitely sit down and do the math before I buy the stuff. I think I may go and pick up a second color mat and redo the Prairie West with two colors. Maybe a nice orange-y color....

I am going to lace up Rocky Mountain tonight. That is what takes so long, but I think it ends up being worth it. I don't like the adhesive ones. I don't know what would happen long term with the adhesive and the cloth. But that is a personal opinion only.

I would like to thank everyone who has left comments! I do appreciate the feedback, positive and even the negative, if it is constructive criticism.

Not much else going on here. Kids are driving me nuts, but that's not a long trip, is it? I am off to run the vac and do a load of dishes and laundry, then to lace. Later all!
