Happy New Year!!!!!!!

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and will have an even better new year.  I should have been keeping up with this better, but I just got way too busy with the kids, work and holidays.  Especially work. This was supposed to be p/t, but my last check had 56 hours for 2 weeks on it.  It paid for the Christmas presents.  The kids got bikes.  Bekah got one that is make-your-eyes-bleed pink.  Patrick got a blue one and Mariska got a Dora (of course)

They got to see Santa at the hospital this year.

I liked this movie. Pretty surprising because I usually don't care for Kevin Costner. My criteria for a good actor is if I can forget they are who they are and see the character. Kevin manages to make me forget who is is here, for the most part. And I really liked that they made his serial killer "essence" a separate character, played very well by William Hurt. Demi Moore turns in a serviceable performance. I would have liked to see a bit more interaction between Moore and Costner/Hurt. But, overall, a nice evenings diversion.
